Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that everyone had a relaxing and restful half-term break. The children have returned and settled straight back into the routines of school which has been wonderful to see, especially as we’ve had a busy first week!
Monday saw KS1 pupils venture to Hartlepool Museum and Art Gallery for a visit linked to their current history topic—a great time was had by all. Wednesday and Thursday saw Y5 and Y6 pupils take part in their Bikeabil-ity sessions, learning about the importance of bike safety in a practical way. We had some lovely feedback from the instructors, especially about their time spent on the roads around Carlton with the children.
Don’t forget that next Thursday is KS2’s trip to Murton Park, if you need a reminder of the details please just ask at the of-fice.
