Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s hard to believe that the first half-term of the year is already over! We’ve had a brilliantly busy 7 weeks with trips, visits and visitors enhancing the children’s learning experiences. Our visit to church for the Harvest Service was a particular highlight, especially for our Reception children as this was their first visit.
Earlier this week Y5 and Y6 children visited Yarm School to take part in an exciting day run by the North East STEM Foundation—the children really enjoyed this hands-on experience.
We hope that everyone has a relaxing half-term break, don’t forget that there is no training day when we re-turn and all pupils are due back on Monday 2nd November.
I’ve attached some Halloween safety information to the news-letter to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable night.
With best wishes for a peaceful half term,
Mr. M. Scott
Executive Headteacher
