Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful long weekend for the Bank Holiday—even though we’ve had a shorter week we have still managed to pack in lots of learning and opportunities for our amazing children.
Tuesday saw Y3 and Y4 pupils head off to the cluster cricket festival—a great time was had by all and the chil-dren impressed with their sporting abilities, resilience and determination.
Y6 pupils have spent the week busily preparing for their SATs next week—we’re very impressed with how ma-turely they are dealing with the preparations and wish them every success for the assessments next week. While the outcomes are important, they don’t measure indi-viduality, kindness or respect and we’re proud to say our bril-liant Y6s are overflowing with these qualities. We hope that you’ll join us in wishing the Y6 children the very best of luck as they undertake these assessments.
With best wishes for a peaceful weekend,
Mr. M. Scott Executive Headteacher
