Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope all of our families had an enjoyable summer break. It’s been really lovely to see the children settle into
their new classes this week, coping brilliantly with getting back into the routines of school—particularly our
Reception children who look so smart in their uniforms! An especially big welcome goes to the pupils who join
us from other schools, or for their first experience of school in Little Owls.
This week we have also welcomed a new member of staff—Mrs Jones joins our team as a teaching assistant
who will be working across all classes at Carlton. We’re delighted that Mrs Jones has joined our school and
look forward to working with her as the year progresses.
The apples on the tree in the front garden at Carlton are
ready to harvest—please feel free to help yourselves if you’d
like any.
