Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been another busy week full of adventure and success. Last Friday saw our ever-popular book fair after school, facilitated by White Rose Books in Thirsk—it was lovely to see so many children be excited by choosing a new book to take home. Monday saw our annual outing with our fantastic choir to the Shine Schools Festival at Middlesbrough Town Hall—all of the children performed brilliantly and received some lovely feedback.

The main event this week has been our Y3/4 residential to Newby Wiske Hall—we were bowled over by the determination, resilience and independence the children showed as they took part in a range of activities from climbing to zip-lining. Well done to all and I’m sure a restful weekend will be in order! Thanks to Mrs Leivers and Mr Body for leading the trip and volunteering to stay overnight with the children.
