Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had another busy week across the federation with the children working hard and producing some brilliant outcomes. Today is a very exciting day for children in Y5 and Y6 as we are visiting London to take part in a tour and workshop at The Houses of Parliament. Updates to follow in next week’s newsletter!
Next Friday is Mrs Myers’ last day cooking at Carlton as she heads off for her well-deserved retirement. I’m
pleased to say that we interviewed a strong candidate for her replacement yesterday and we hope that a permanent replacement for Mrs Myers will start soon after half-term. We are not expecting any change to the high quality meals served each day and we’re looking forward to welcoming a new member to the team.
Letters regarding a dodgeball event for Y3/4 went out this week, please return permission slips ASAP.
