Dear Parents and Carers,
Another busy week has come to an end, and with it more trainee teachers have joined us at Carlton. Miss Palmer, Miss Lea and Miss Parkin have started their first-year teaching placement with us in KS2, meaning they will be spending periods observing staff and working with small groups of children. They will be in school for two-week blocks over the next few months.
On Tuesday, Mrs Cawthra and I spent the day working with our Local Authority Education Adviser to evaluate inclusive provision at Carlton. We were really pleased with the outcome of the day and it further highlighted our strong inclusive practice. Next week sees our exciting visit for Y5 and Y6 to London, if you haven’t already returned your permission form please do so ASAP.
