Dear Parents and Carers,
The children have really settled back into the routine of school this week and it’s been lovely to see them working hard when I’ve been popping in and out of classrooms. There has been lots of excitement with children launching into their new topics, whether that’s Ancient Greeks in KS2 history, properties and uses of fabrics in KS1 DT or fairy tales in Early Years—the children are really creating a ‘buzz’ around their learning which is so lovely to see.

This week we welcomed Miss Armstrong and Miss Temprell, student teachers from York St John University, into school for their final teaching practice. They will be working in Class 1 and Class 2 until after Easter.

Thank you to all parents who came to the Y3/4 residential information session last night, if you couldn’t make it the pack of information will be coming home today with your child.

With best wishes for a peaceful weekend,
Mr. M. Scott Executive Headteacher
