Dear Parents and Carers,
You’ll now all be aware from communications from the Governing Body yesterday that the Local Authority will be undertaking a consultation process on the possibility of the closure of Bilsdale School from the end of this academic year. While this isn’t a situation any of us ever wanted to be in, I want to reassure all within the community that during this process it is very much ‘business as usual’ - children across the federation will con-tinue to receive the very best teaching and learning experiences that we’re able to provide. I will share fur-ther information about the public consultation as and when it becomes available, and I’d encourage all stake-holders to have their voices heard so that the Local Authority can come to an informed decision.
If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me via the school office.
With best wishes for a peaceful weekend,
Mr. M. Scott Executive Headteacher
