PFA (Parents and Friends Association)

The joint Carlton & Faceby and Bilsdale & Midcable PFA is a great opportunity for parents, carers and friends of the school to get involved, support the school and meet other families and friends of the school. The PFA organises events and activities to raise money for the school. In previous years the PFA funded play equipment and the new outdoor kitchen for nursery and reception children in the playing field.

We have lots of ideas for social events and fundraising starting with coffee afternoons and cake sales during autumn and winter and ice cream Fridays in summertime.  Other ideas are to offer refreshments at the sports day and at school events.

We asked children, parents and the school what the PFA could do for them and found that the children would like new playground toys for break time such a football, football goals, hula hoops, skipping ropes, tennis rackets and balls.

Please do get in touch if you have other ideas or would like to help with any of the above. We would love to hear from you.
