Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you’ve all had a positive and enjoyable week. As always, it has been a pleasure to see our children engaging so enthusiastically in their learning and supporting one another around school. Miss Temprell and Miss Armstong, our student teachers, have begun their teaching commitment this week and we’re very impressed with their commitment and enthusiasm. They will gradually increase their teaching responsibility over the coming weeks, under the direction of myself and Mrs Cawthra.
On Tuesday Mrs Grundmann and I attended a reading conference and we’re excited to implement some new ideas in school to further enhance our strong reading culture.
2026 also sees the launch of The National Year of Reading, so expect events throughout the year to further promote this.
