Foundation Stage Multi Skills Festival

Today was the turn of our foundation stage children to take part in a multi skills festival.

Our children were very excited as they got into cars to embark on the journey to Stokesely Secondary School.

When we got there we were greeted by a Young leader who used to go to our school and she helped to warm us up, giving us lots of fun activities to do.

The different activities we took part in, included :

  • Speed bounce
  • Target Practise
  • Slalom Running
  • Throwing and Catching a Ball
  • Distance Throwing.

We all had a lot of fun and loved the different activities we took part in.

We were very excited at the end when we found everyone of our children had gained a high score in one or more of the events. Isabel gained a high score in 3 out of the 5 events!

Cameron, we have decided, is going to be someone who might beat the school records for throwing as he gets older with the length of his distance throw and he was very accurate when aiming at a target too!

A great afternoon of fun sporting activity.

We would like to say a big thank you to the Stokesley School Sports Leaders for their help in running the afternoon and making sure we all had a lot of fun and laughter. Can we do it again soon please?
